Cox contour, wifi panoramic modem bridge mode?

Question

I just got a panoramic &nbsp;modem and new contour box. I put the WiFi panoramic modem in bridge mode because I have an orbi network router. My problem is I receive an unencrypted WiFi Cox WiFi open to the public. Why. Also with the panoramic modem in bridge mode how does peacock work on the contour box?&nbsp;&nbsp;Tia, harris

To reduce cord-cutting, Cox bought cable-boxes configured to stream through the Cable TV Distribution System.&nbsp; Somewhere in this system, your requests to stream (Peacock, YouTube, Netflix, etc) will get metered for your data cap.

Thanks turning off the Cox WiFi scared me because it took minutes for the WiFi to come back but it’s back thanks.
