Do you have the Panoramic router? I'd change your encryption key to something longer, stronger.

i'm almost betting that somebody probably recommended getting his own setup to avoid the panoramic unit.

You'd win this bet because I'd recommend to avoid the Scamoramic. Anyway, WPA keys aren't unique to Scamoramic. It's a protocol. Changing its key is just Security 101.

i'm aware they're not unique to the pano unit.
same point i made earlier, sounds like no encryption for op!!

Unless "Open" is the default Wireless Security setting...which I doubt...people could still connect to an encrypted WLAN due to weak passwords. Brute Force programs usually start with the historically "lazy" words, such as password.
