No Splitters. We have one DVR contour box and 3 other boxes, all connected directly. It only happens late afternoon, evening, never during the day. It will last overnight, and by 4-5 am the system is fine. Makes me think this is a Cox issue, but it never shows there is an outage. You can continue to watch the same channel, but can't change channel or use Contour functions. If you try to restart or unplug system, you need to wait until the next morning for it to reset.

A Cox technician came out today, and replaced all the connections at the main neighborhood box and the one right outside our house. He also checked the wiring inside the house, which he said was in excellent condition. We had good service until around 8 pm, then spotty connections until now at 10:30 with no service. I give up. If a technician can’t fix what else can we try. We know it’s not the individual connections or box, because they all go down at the same time. What the heck can they do to fix it. I’ll email my concern, but this is not worth the money I pay Cox for service after 20+ years.

I know that it is frustrating when the problem persists even after a technician visit. Have you gotten the main DVR swapped out with a new one yet?
