Smart devices are not connecting to panoramic WiFi
It's been a month now since i upgraded to the gigablast plan and panoramic WiFi router. Ever since i did that most of my smart devices are failing to connect. Google nest thermostat, tuya smart bulbs, etekcity smart plugs. I tried to reset the bulbs and connect to the 2.4ghz network SSID but it tries for few minutes and fails. Nest support says the ping is very high (3000+),the so device shows offline. Have reset to factory defaults 5 times with help from their tech support but no luck. Just to test, i connected to my neighbor's WiFi (with his permission) and it worked immediately. After it worked, i switched the connection to my WiFi network and it went back to showing offline now. Speed test doesn't work as well (ookla) even through cox app. Only Google's works. Anyone else facing these issues? Any solution? P.S. All smart devices were working fine with my previous Netgear router. Stopped working only after panoramic WiFi router was setup.20KViews2likes30CommentsMoCA installation
Hi all. I'm a brand new cox subscriber and have purchased the gigabit connection using the COX Panoramic modem/router (Technicolor CGM 4141). Which i believe is compatible with MoCA. The cable connection comes straight into the front room of the house directly into the modem/router. the cable is not split and distributed to any other rooms currently. I'd like to deliver a connection to two other rooms using existing cable and MoCA. So here is my current plan. Please let me know if I have this right. Step 1. Using a standards compliant splitter, connect the service feed prior to the modem connection and distribute it to the two other rooms. Step 2. Using Moca 2.0 adapters, connect the RG6 cable to covert into a standard ethernet signal. Step 3. Connect my PC to the Moca Adapter using RJ45 cat5 cable. Would appreciate any insights or recommendations. Thanks!Solved7.5KViews1like1CommentHow to set up OpenDNS for parental controls on COX Panoramic router
OpenDNS is used as a parental control and requires me to change my DNS servers. I logged into my router and they are currently set to, Primary DNS Server (IPv4):68.105.28.11 Secondary DNS Server (IPv4):68.105.29.11 But there is no visible option to changes these inside the Panoramic control panel. How do I fix this? Do I need a different router? Thanks!3.1KViews1like1Comment
