Cox Rep lied to me
When I was setting up my account 6 months ago, I was told I would need to enter a 1 year service agreement to get the internet speeds I wanted. Im a seasonal firefighter and I'd only need services for 6 months. I told this to the representative and I was assured that there was not going to be a cancellation fee because Cox doesn't provide services in the area I work. This sounded strange to me and I repeatedly asked for her guarantee that was true. She acted annoyed that I didn't believe her and she told me it was Cox policy. Here I am 6 months later, I cancelled my services and am being charged 65 dollars for cancelling early. When I brought up my interaction with the earlier representative, I was told that I was lying and that no one would say that. Pretty infuriating interaction. Not sure what recourse I have if any.1.6KViews0likes4CommentsHow do I file a complaint for refund?
I have had 1000Mb internet service for almost a year and we have complained many times and had many Cox representatives out to fix the issue. A month ago we found out we did not have the correct box on our pole. I want to be refunded the money we paid for service we did not receive. I cannot find on the website a place to do this.597Views0likes2CommentsConstant outages in our area that go on for hours at a time, I’m new to cox - is this something that happens all the time?
We are still new to cox (about 2 months now) and have had at least 5-6 outages in our area since we started service....is this common? Seems to happen when I need internet access the most and it’s getting to be super frustrating. Is there a refund system in place for not being able to access my Cox services? It wouldn’t be a big deal if it was just once or twice but now it’s becoming ridiculous.828Views0likes1Comment
