Still Can Not Watch Netflix or Paramount +
I posted about a couple of weeks ago that I cannot access my Netflix or my Paramount+ without subscribing through COX. I spoke to one of the COX Rep and she did not know that COX has changed. She was able to verify it while I was on hold. So again, Why is COX blocking my access to the other apps that I pay for monthly? I had no issues before the change that was made. If you have a Samsung Smart TV, you can access Samsung TV settings with your Contour/Cox TV remote. Using the Cox remote, press the TV device button, then the CC button. An "Accessibility Shortcuts" menu will be displayed. Press right arrow and select "Close" to return to normal television or press Exit to display the Samsung home screen. Press left arrow to display "Media", then down arrow twice to "Settings". Press right arrow repeatedly to your desired option. From a "Settings" option, press Exit to return to normal television. Cox remote buttons are in bold text, "Samsung settings and menus" are in italics and quotes. Note: The organization of Samsung settings may vary for different models. I am unable to watch Paramount+ shows on my Contour host box (brand new today).On the host box, when I select the episode and choose to go to Paramount+ (watch options), I get an ad, then a spinny circle in the upper left, and that's it. Spinny circle forever or eventually an error code. I am able to watch Paramount+ shows on the client box. It shows an ad and then the show starts up fine. Guide shows only 5 channels
Is there someway to see more than five channels in the guide? I don’t mind if the guide would be smaller, but it would be nice to see maybe seven or 10 channels at a time instead of just the five. Dvr recordings are freezing, pixelating, then shuts down. The system is very slow off n on- it will take up to 40 minutes to come up in AM. Then when push buttons on remote- can take up to 1-2 mins to respond.
