contour does not work on my laptop

Why can't I watch contour on my laptop? I keep getting the message "connecting to your entertainment experience" and nothing happens aafter that

    Thanks for reaching out in our community forums. I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with https://watchtv.cox.com/ not loading. I have run into this myself a few times and found that there are a number of things that could cause this.  

     

    The first thing to check is your browser version. You may need to update the browser before the page will load. To check your browser's version click on the Hamburger menu at the top right, navigate to Help, or Help and feedback, depending on the browser and then click on About.

    The next thing I would try is deleting your browser cache and cookies. This can usually be found in the Settings section of your Browser. If clearing cache and ensuring your browser is up to date does not resolve this trouble, you may need to disable browser extensions, or check your antivirus software to ensure there is nothing amiss. Additionally, the use of a VPN could cause https://watchtv.cox.com/ not to function. 

     

    I would also recommend trying a different browser or device to try to isolate the issue.
