Cox Contour on Browser

I'm sharing this experience in the hope of helping others.  Date: Oct 12, 2024

Cox Contour on a Windows PC will not work with any browser on a 'live' or 'currently recording' show if a VPN is being used. The error message talks about home WiFi, but it's the VPN that causes the problem.  Fully recorded shows do work through a VPN connection. 

Cox Contour on a PC will not work with a Brave browser at all - the error message is useless. It used to work with Brave, but now it does not. 

Cox Contour on a Chrome browser does work, but Fox channels do not deliver any audio.  Why?  All other channels work. No error message offered - just failure. 

Cox Contour seems to work correctly only with the MS Edge browser.
