Dropped connections

Is anyone else in the Sun Valley, Idaho area having issues with dropped connections besides us? We have had great service from Cox for many years, but random connection drops have been occuring frequently in past few weeks.  Before then I would occasionally get "unstable internet" messages when on Zoom, but now it just freezes and drops.  I have updated the firmware on my Nighthawk router, which is only a year old and Cox replaced my modem today.  I am still having the same issue afterward, however.  Is anyone else having the same issue around here?  Any suggestions?
